Park House was developed in partnership between Action for Children and Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, Park House is a three-bedroombungalow offering children and teenagers with disabilities short-term, planned residential breaks where the children can explore, make friends, access new opportunities and learn new life skills, all with the help from the staff team. House is purpose-builtproperty in the heart of Port Talbot community close to Aberavon Beach. The premises has three single bedrooms, all en-suite and accommodates up to three children per night a stay over. There is a kitchen, dining room, hi tech sensory room and television loungeas well as a large garden which includes an enclosed area for safe play.As an Night Assistant Residential Workeryoull be:

• Taking responsibility for the supervision and personal care routines of the young people during the night.
• Following individual personal plans to help the young people achieve their full potential and enjoy their stay
• Supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.
• Being responsible for the safeguarding of young people.
• Undertaking medication checks during the night
• Responsible for paper and digital record keeping.
• Undertaking household chores
• Attend regular team meetings and training days (paid in addition to the salary)

• Experience of working with children or young people.
• Level 3 QCF in Social Care or happy to work toward this after your probation
• Registration or willingness to register with Social Care Wales which we will support you with.
• You dont have to be a driver but you do need the get-up-and-go to make the most of the public transport around the area.
• Flexibility to work shifts across a 24/7 rota
