My client are looking to recruit an experienced people manager with a strong technical aptitude to run a section of the manufacturing facility. This role will provide you withthe opportunity to train and develop in a supportive environment. This business works with a highly recyclable product and with has a strong customer base made up of international businesses, providing excellent job security.Role & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the production manager, this role will see you managing a small team of team leaders and technical operators.
Involvement in trials of new products and materials.
Management of tooling and spares.
Organising planned maintenance tasks through PPM and TPMs.
Practices of 5S.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Time served mechanical apprenticeship
Experience working in a technical role - experience with 5S, tooling, continuous improvement and troubleshooting machinery.
Having experience in an FMCG environment will be beneficial.
Good experience of automated machinery.
