Job Description

Family/Childcare SolicitorLocation: Port TalbotJob Type: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: up to £40.000 DOEStart Date: ImmediateWe are a well-established private practice with a significant Childcare Department, currently seeking a Family/Childcare Solicitor to enhance our team. This role is ideal for a solicitor with a passion for Child/Family Law and a proven track record in managingtheir own caseload and conducting their own advocacy.Day to Day of the role:

  • Manage a comprehensive caseload in Child/Family Law, providing expert legal advice and representation.
  • Conduct your own advocacy in family courts.
  • Work closely with clients, offering them high-quality legal support and guidance.
  • Maintain and update case files, ensuring all procedures are followed and documentation is in order.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of client care procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least three years post-qualification experience in Child/Family Law.
  • Experience in managing a full caseload autonomously.
  • Strong commitment to client care and the ability to provide high-quality legal services.
  • Excellent advocacy skills with experience in family courts.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
