Job Description

Quality EngineerPort TalbotYolk Recruitment is pleased to be representing a secure, growing company in the search for a Quality Engineer. If you have experience as a Quality Engineer or you are looking to take the step up from a Quality Technician, this could be the perfect role foryou! This is a progressive company with a great working culture and a family feel.This is what youll be doing:

  • Collaborate with the Quality team to uphold the highest product standards across the organisation.
  • Interact with customers and suppliers to grasp customer concepts and requirements, collaborating with the Quality team to integrate this insight into production.
  • Assist in evaluating equipment and process capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and customer-specific prerequisites throughout the entire process, from design to launch.
  • Communicate with customers to comprehend and resolve quality issues spanning the supply chain to customer aftercare.
  • Work alongside the Quality and Technical teams to enhance inter-departmental communication regarding quality matters, ensuring effective dissemination of concerns and corrective actions throughout the organisation.
This is what youll need:
  • Brings hands-on experience with PPAP, IPC, ISO 9001, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Commands strong leadership proficiencys capable of effectively influencing internal teams.
  • Proven experience of participating in and/or leading product and process audits.
  • Experience in customer relationship management, able to engage with high value customers and build strong business relationships.
  • Qualified in relevant engineering/quality discipline.
