Job Description

SET Recruitment have a positions available in the surrounding areas of Neath & Port Talbot for a Teaching Assistant who has been trained/have experience with Read, Write Inc (RWI) phonics system.We would also prefer if you have experience working along with Children such as volunteering work in Nursey, Youth/Social Clubs and in other settings andwould also prefer if youre able to drive.Desire and enthusiasm to work in this environment is a must as your role will be to motivate, engage and challenge pupils of all abilities and backgrounds.The ideal applicant will have:

  • Positive but strong behaviour management.
  • A current Enhanced DBS – SET Recruitmentwill provide a free DBS if you are not on the update service.
  • Be able to provide Right to Work Documents.
And will be expected to:
  • Encourage a positive learning experience for pupils to achieve their full potential.
  • Be fully committed to the safeguarding of children.
  • Follow the ethos and values of the nursery, school, or other educational setting.
