Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a JCB 3CX Driver / Landfill Operative on behalf of their client based in Port Talbot Steelworks on temporary to permanent basis.Successful candidates will have:* Extensive experience operating plant machinery.* Previous experience as a landfill/ waste operator.* JCB/3CX licence is essential - 180 excavator* A CCNSG Site Safety Passport, or the ability to obtain one* A full UK driving licence is required.* 360 Excavator Licence (preferred but not essential)* Telehandler (preferred but not essential)* Driver CPC (preferred)Duties will include :* Burial of Wastes* Site Maintenance* Grounds Keeping* Site Monitoring* Any other tasks as and when required.Schedule and rate of pay:* Expected annual Salary £30,000.* Day shift* Monday to Friday 45 -50 hours per week (07:00 - 16:30) overtime payable after 8 hours.* Overtime & weekend availability.If you have the required experience and qualifications, and are looking to start ASAP, please apply with an up-to-date CV.
