Internal Sales Executive - Building Materials Job Title: Internal Sales Executive - Building MaterialsIndustry Sector: Internal Sales, Customer Service, Building Materials, Wall Ties, Fixings, Bricks, Insulation, Plastering, Cavity Trays, KBB, Drainage, Landscaping, Plumbing, Doors, Machinery, Tools, Main Contractors, Subcontractors, Local AuthoritiesLocated: Port Talbot or surrounding areasRemuneration: £24,000 + profit share bonusBenefits: Full Comprehensive Benefits PackageThe role of the Internal Sales Executive - Building Materials will involve:

  • Internal sales position, selling a range of building products into the construction industry such as: building materials, drainage, landscaping, KBB, roofing, plumbing, doors, machinery and tools
  • Majority of your work will be account management of current customers
  • Dealing with inbound and outbound phone calls
  • Raising quotations and following up
  • Elements of building and developing new client relationships
  • Possessing a good understanding of the product range
  • Responding to customer queries and providing advise
The ideal applicant will be Internal Sales Executive - Building Materials with:
  • Ideally will have sales experience within the construction industry, working within a builders merchant
  • Ideally will have good knowledge of various building products
  • Must be used to working in a fast paced environment dealing with emails and phone calls such as customer service / internal sales
  • Highly organised, motivated and driven
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbally
  • Must be computer literate
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic and confident personality
  • Comfortable with working both autonomously and as part of a team
