We are immediately recruiting for 3x Class 2 Mixer Drivers on a permanent, full-time basis for our client based in Britton Ferry, SA11.As a Class 2 Mixer Driver, you will play a crucial role in their operations by ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of concrete to various construction sites around South and West Wales. We are looking for drivers with previous mixer experience as the site you will be working from is a remote site. For the first 2 weeks you will be paired with one of their drivers to ‘learn the ropes’ and then you will be expected to work on from there withlittle supervision.Your Responsibilities:· Safely operate HGV Class 2 Mixer vehicles· Load, transport, and deliver sites across South and West Wales· Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantity, time, and location· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety· Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations· Keep the vehicle clean and report any maintenance issues· Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers· Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional mannerQualifications:· Valid Category C license.· Up to date CPC and Digi Tachograph Card· Previous experience as a Mixer Driver is essential.· Strong knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.· Excellent driving record with no serious violations.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.· Strong communication and customer service skills.· Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of materials.Hours of work:Monday to Friday, 6am start dailyHourly Pay Rates:Salary to be negotiated based on experienceOur client offers:A fleet of well-maintained vehiclesOnsite parkingPossible permanent opportunities for successful candidates (after a trial period)Overtime availableOther benefits of working with ANCORA:28 days annual leave per annum (inclusive of statutory holidays PAYE only)Online payslipsCompetitive pay ratesOn-going assignments throughout 2023Refer a friend bonus scheme‘Driver of the quarter’ AwardTo apply for this vacancy, please click APPLY on this advert to send us your CV.
