Our partner client Ferguson Marine require a number of experienced Coded FCAW Welders to support their new weekend shifts, 3 x 12 hours Friday, Saturday & Sunday.You will be using Sub Arc/MMA/TIG welding processes and equipment, setting up machinery appropriately as well as using hand tools. You will read and understand technical drawings and checking gaps of plates prior to welding (using gauges).Experience in a similar role, ideally in a shipbuilding yard is preferred and you should be qualified with trade papers/BSEN ISO 9606/coded to 136 multi positions.Please note a premium weekend allowance will be paid on top of the hourly rate Advantage Resourcing is a service driven recruitment consultancy.
