Venesky-Browns client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, are currently looking to recruit a Procurement Delivery Manager for an initial 8 month contract on a rate of c.£400-450/day (inside of IR35).Responsibilities:• Provide procurement and contractual advice and support to the project team/delegated purchaser for the preparation of current procurements. This includes managing the various stages of the procurement process, from procurement strategy through to contract award. • Preparation and development of general procurement documents, including processes and procedures for assessment of tenders• Provide support and advice on how procurements should be undertaken.• Prepare and deliver tender documentation (ESPD / Contract Notice / ITT / Assessment criteria / Opening & Evaluation procedure etc.)• Processing tender queries.• Issuing tender bulletins.• Development of interim and final ITTs.• Negotiation meetings with participants.• Preparation and development of general project documents, business cases, risk logs, project planning. • Managing multiple stakeholder relations, both internal and external and at appropriate level, to deliver the procurement• Lead and contribute to internal and external communications as required.Experience:• Knowledge and experience of public sector procurement, including the legal framework, and how to conduct a procurement exercise for medium-high value risk requirements. • Experience in successfully delivering complex and challenging IT procurements.• Hold a formal procurement qualification.• Experience in effectively managing a range of internal and external stakeholders across multiple projects.• Ability to work autonomously or within a team environment, and also experienced with influencing within a wider support element, such as working groups and advisory boardsDesirable Skills:• Awareness of collaborative procurement and sustainable procurement, including community benefits.If you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
