Job Description

Secondary School TeacherEngage Education is a leading education staffing agency that connects dedicated and passionate Secondary School Teachers with schools across West Yorkshire. We understand the importance of maintaining continuity in education, and our mission is to providetop-quality supply teachers to ensure that learning never stops.We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Secondary Supply Teachers to join our team from January 2024. As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will have the unique opportunity to work with a variety of schools, students, and subjects. Whether youre an experiencedteacher looking for flexibility or a newly qualified teacher eager to gain valuable classroom experience, we have opportunities that suit your needs.Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in your subject area(s) to students across different secondary schools.
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school settings.
  • Follow school policies and guidelines to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, helping them to achieve their academic goals.
  • Assess and record student progress and behaviour, providing feedback to schools as required.
What you will need:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge and expertise in your teaching area(s).
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students.
  • Willingness to travel to different schools
