Naval Skills Instructor - SONARLocation: Saudi ArabiaAbout the JobWe are searching for a skilled Sonar Instructor to join our high-profile client in the defence sector based in the Middle East. The primary purpose of the role will be to ensure customers’ needs are met by delivering effective training solutions in relation to their Naval Forces’ range of military equipment.About the EmployerOur client has a well-established overseas presence where they have developed a reputation for working closely with local partners to support economic development by transferring knowledge, skills and technology to add value and capability. Our client operates as a prime contractor under a Government to Government arrangement which is in place to provide equipment, support and training to the customer based in the Middle East.Key ResponsibilitiesIf you are an ex-military instructor currently in search of overseas jobs or have previously considered working in the Middle East, then this role will potentially provide a great opportunity to take the leap with a well-established and respected business in the defence sector. As Sonar Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering Sonar related Skills Training within the Technical Institute for Naval Studies.In addition to remedial classroom training activity, you will be accountable as Sonar Instructor for the design and writing of assessment material as well as associated invigilation support for assessment of the customers’ Naval Forces personnel.About the PersonThe ideal candidate for the position of Sonar Instructor will be a graduate of an advanced military training establishment or industry equivalent. You will have at least 3 years’ practical experience as a sonar technician/specialist working in a complex operational training environment.It would be a distinct advantage that you have have at least 1 year’s recent instructional experience in order to succeed in your role as Sonar Instructor.The Reward & Overseas BenefitsThe package for this Sonar Instructor role is substantial.
