Job Description

Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Head of Finance for a leading organisation in the Plymouth area. This is a permanent role that offers hybrid working.Reporting into the CFO, this role will take responsibility for managing the companys financial functions and operations. This will include contributing to the shaping and delivery of company strategy to achieve organisational objectives.Key duties will include:

  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly management information meeting Group deadlines
  • Produce all financial reports for Heads of Department
  • Production of statutory accounts
  • Support overseas subsidiaries with group reporting
  • Full responsibility for the accounting function including revenue recognition, production of accruals, Capex and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Management of accounts payable, accounts receivable and international finance teams
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Management and forecasting of company cash-flow.
  • Identify and report all Tax compliance requirements
  • Lead and participate in the annual external and internal audits
  • Preparation of Group consolidation reporting. Supporting system upgrades and implementations
  • Lead the renewal of annual business insurance policies
The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience of leading and managing a team.
