Job Description

Chief Omnichannel Officer | Plymouth - 3 days per week | Competitive packageZachary Daniels are delighted to be partnered with one the UKs fastest growing retailers, on the appointment of a Chief Omnichannel Officer. Our client are a multi-channel retailer who boast incredible results year on year. The position of Chief Omnichannel Officer is simply designed to lead the business in creating a true omnichannel experience, with international presence. About the role:

  • Responsible for all aspects of digital trading across various e-commerce platforms
  • Lead a high performing team to deliver commercial growth through brand building and digital performance
  • Create a customer led omnichannel journey within the UK and Internationally
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to create a joined up, consistent and market leading trading plan
  • Complete ownership of the P&L demonstrating an understanding of the key cost drivers including digital ad spend, courier costs, fulfilment costs and product / category ROI
  • Ongoing development of the CRM platform
  • Maximise online sales performance through effective day to day adaptations of the site, add to list, promotional activity and reducing customer bounce rates
  • Improve commercial performance using data sources including web analytics data on traffic, P&L, add to list and conversion
  • Manage e-commerce dashboards and reporting metrics
About you: To be considered for this role, you will offer the following experience.
  • A hands on operator with a strategic mindset. Someone who can lead the strategic vision for the next 3 years whilst keeping close to the detail
  • A respected stakeholder who can quickly build and further maintain exceptional relationships, both internally and externally
  • International trading experience, preferably with local marketplaces
  • An balanced focus on both the creative opportunities across multiple platforms and the commercials attached to this
  • A subject matter expert with a minimum of 5 years omnichannel knowledge, within retail preferably
  • A very strong technical understanding of platform development
