Are you looking for a new challenge in 2023I am delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Supervisor starting asap based DE55 Derbyshire.Job summaryAa anAccounts Supervisor you will be responsible for a small team of AP and AR processors, reporting to the Finance team at the parent company Office in Oxfordshire. You will oversee the work of junior accounting staff, review financial statements to ensureaccuracy, and reconcile general ledger accounts at a growing company that are market leaders in theirmanufacturing industry.Responsibilities/duties Producing detailed financial reports and forecasts for the management and the parent company Manage and prepare journals for the fixed asset register, accruals, and prepayments Prepare weekly payment runs for submission to the parent company Act as point of contact for suppliers for financial matters Analysis of credit card expenditure Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department Ensure compliance with the laws and regulations Some AP/AR processing in instances of heavy workload Responsible for analysing expenditure and correcting where needed Bank reconciliations of GBP accountSkills & qualifications Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data Attention to detail and accuracy Team management skills Ability to priorities well Organised, computer literate Friendly and approachable with a professional telephone mannerEducation & experience AAT studied up to level 3 minimum Experience with Sage essential, experience with Opera preferred Proven work experience as an Accounting SupervisorIf you would like to learn more about this role please APPLY TODAY!
