Job Description

Quality and EHS EngineerPermanentExcellent Salary and Package on Offer8:30am5pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am2:30pm Friday TamworthOur client is a large and well-respected manufacturing organisation. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated Quality and EHS Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed ensuring compliance toquality management systems and will have strong experience dealing with non-conformances. Experience working within a highly regulated industry is essential. The role will be quality focused, but a knowledge/appreciation of EHS/Health & Safety processes/standardsis a must.Quality and EHS EngineerJob Description

  • Ensure Quality and EHS processes/systems are adhered to
  • Improve current Quality and EHS processes/systems
  • Responsible for the concession or scrapping of non-conforming products
  • Dealing with corrective actions
  • Monitoring supplier and specifications portals
  • Carry out internal audits (Quality and EHS) whilst maintaining AS9100/ISO14001/ISO45001
  • Completing and submitting FAI reports
  • Support of EHS legal responsibilities
  • Assist QHSE Manager with preparing monthly and quarterly reports
Quality and EHS EngineerEssential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • Strong experience working within a similar quality position, dealing with non-conformances
  • Experience working within a highly regulated manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of quality systems (working to, abiding by them and ensuring compliance)
  • An understanding of EHS (Environmental Health and Safety)
Quality and EHS EngineerDesirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • Well-versed carrying out internal or external audits (Quality and/or EHS)
  • Experience working within a machining environment
  • APQP/NPI experience
  • Experience working within the Aerospace sector
  • Previous inspection experience
