Were involved in producing, distributing and supplying electricity and gas as well as providing other energy-related services.The RoleThe Resourcing Team manages SSEs recruitment in the UK & Ireland which includes everything up to Executive Committee level and covers specialist roles, volume campaigns and our pipeline programmes, such as apprentices and trainee engineers. We are currently seeking experienced Resourcing Team Managers to support the growing needs of our business.You will manage a team of Resourcing Consultants to support an aligned business area throughout the whole recruitment process, providing advice and expertise to both your team and the business. Working closely with key business managers and the HR Business Partners, you will develop strategic resourcing solutions to help us attract high quality talent to our roles. In addition you will provide insight and management information to the business, identifying and addressing trends where necessary.What do I needWe have a great team and are looking to add to it with positive team players, who set high personal standards whilst working collaboratively and flexibly at all times. It is essential that you have recruitment experience. Additionally, you will be an experienced people manager, able to lead and manage a team of recruitment professionals by supporting and empowering them to deliver the recruitment plans for a designated business area. Youll be accountable for building a strong team through leading by example, and undertaking key management activities such as coaching, development and performance management.As well as a good level of experience, you will have excellent communication skills and be able to cope with a demanding workload by prioritising effectively and remaining good-humoured. You will be able to flex your style according to the level of role being recruited, the requirements of the business and your workload. You will be equally comfortable managing a caseload of senior or complex vacancies, or partnering business leaders to help them develop their recruitment strategy.
