Job Description

Job Overview -The Sr. HR Manager will be responsible for all HR functions including, employee relations, people development, organisational change management, talent acquisition, and talent management. This person will work closely with senior leadership to develop organisational strategies to develop the team structure for the next level. This is an ideal role for a resourceful, determined, organised, and adaptable individual with incredible emotional intelligence! Primary Responsibilities -

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the Europe business strategy.
  • Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary.
  • Manage and maintain the training database for training reporting, arranging refresher training and scheduling essential retraining as required.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to leadership (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Closely work with Finance department to administer payroll and payroll records and keep accounts appraised of any changes.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment process and directly recruit senior-level positions.
  • Provides guidance and input on team and department restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Pull and create reports and audits relating to employee relations processes
  • Improve connectivity and cohesiveness across all department
  • Develop and maintain central company resources for onboarding and development
  • Maintain complete confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Oversee and manage exit management procedure to ensure a seamless and positive transition for departing employee
  • The Sr HR Manager will oversee the work of an HR Manager and be supported by a Compliance and Administrative Assistant.
  • Requirements/Skills -
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience resolving complex HR functions
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and UK/ European laws.
  • Experienced in developing and supporting line managers through change.
  • A degree in a Human Resources or equivalent work experience is desired
  • Utmost sensitivity to confidential information
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment with changing priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), Google Apps etc.
  • A problem solver capable of thinking outside the box
  • Solid team player who can collaborate cross-functionally
  • French speaking is a plus
