Job Description

The B&S Group is a privately-owned pharmaceutical company which manufactures and distributes pharmaceutical and healthcare products to the UK market. Established in 1999 we offer a wide range of products and services which includes specials, generic drugs, branded medicines, parallel trade and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines. Having undergone two acquisitions since 2010, we are continuing to strengthen and grow.The Digital Growth Manager is an exciting new role will be responsible for increasing Digital sales revenue for B&S Distributions, ensuring consistent profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning and a clear focus on driving digital sales through various E-platforms. You will identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term digital sales while working in collaboration with the other sales functions to ensure sales, marketing and customer development.Responsibilities

  • Develop complaint digital sales promotional activity in support of the wider marketing strategy
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term vision and strategic business plans to drive Digital sales growth objectives
  • Work closely with our Web Support team in developing processes to Trouble shoot customer, product, and site issues. Trains staff on how to respond and address issues. Communicate and troubleshoot any issues and resolve
  • Identify new product opportunities and issues and assist with new product development
  • Evaluate future platform opportunities. Apply learnings from real-time E-commerce, digital and consumer trends as well as emerging digital tools
  • Work alongside the National Sales Manager to drive the UK based field team in delivery company objectives
  • Manage the training and on-going performance of Digital Sales of our UK based retail sales team.
  • Daily review and monitoring of all Digital channels.
  • Develop a high-level understanding of the digital channels and developing sales propositions accordingly.
  • Create and oversee implementation and execution of campaigns and strategies for new account acquisition and customer retention plans on all digital platforms.
  • Provision of sales reports and analysis of performance for senior management.
  • Understanding regulatory requirement within the sector and ensure compliance.
  • Identifying client engagement and event opportunities
  • Working closely with the in-house development team to enhance current systems and platforms.
  • Requirements & Competencies
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Self-starter, decision maker.
  • Demonstrate previous experience of commercial growth via digital channels
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to form collaborative relationships
  • Good communication and influencing skills
  • Good project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong competence in data analysis and insight development
  • Strong customer journey optimisation experience and awareness of the various levers required to drive performance
  • Creative thinker that finds new processes and solutions for business strategy
  • Operates to a good degree of autonomy
  • Understanding of community pharmacy audience (preferred)

  • Proven results in growth and/or brand marketing across social, digital and programmatic media.
  • Experience working with an external media agency and supporting brand marketing is a plus.
  • Analytical and data savvy marketer
  • Technical knowledge of tracking and experiment design and implementation.
  • Good understanding of electronic ordering platforms within Pharmacy (beneficial)
