A unique role has arisen for a resourceful, driven, German speaking Business Development Associate who is looking for an opportunity in the sustainability field. Joining the European team of Business Development Managers and Associates, you will take responsibility for driving the growth in several markets, with a focus on the DACH region.Along with a salary of £30,000 per annum, you will also receive a £5,000 (approximate) performance based annual bonus, 25 paid holiday days, 2 volunteering days, online yoga and activities and a pension scheme.As a German speaking Business Development Associate, your responsibilities will include:- Closing contracts with new clients, driving significant revenue & profit growth.- Researching potential brand partners and identifying key points of contact.- Managing prospects through the entire sales cycle, negotiating & closing new partnerships.- Working primarily on deals with FMCG businesses within DACH.- Utilising industry knowledge to inform prospecting approach and initiating new opportunities.- Coordinating & collaborating with other departments to develop strategic projects.- Learning & sharing learnings about recycling, plastic, the FMCG industry & the zero-waste movement.We are looking for a German Speaking Business Development Associate who has the following skills and experiences:- Fluent in both German and English with exceptional verbal & written communication skills.- A degree in an appropriate field (business, management,) or equivalent work experience.- Previous experience in B2B sales, consulting, or relevant position (marketing, account management, sales).
