Job Description

Class 2 ADR DriverLocation: Launceston, PL15 7PJSalary: £31,484.70PermanentManpower is recruiting for Class 2 ADR Drivers based in Launceston for one of our well-established clients. In this Mini-Bulk Driver role, you will have the opportunity to utilise your skills and abilities, driving Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) in bulk, tohomes and businesses.ShiftsTypically, your working week will be on a 4 on 2 off shift pattern working from 6AM to 4PM. You may be expected to work overtime and weekends.Duties

  • Driving Class 2 and potentially Class 1 vehicles in accordance with ADR standards
  • Responsible for all delivery, collection and returns procedures, you will be complying with all relevant legislation and agreed procedures to ensure a safe and legal working environment and consistent quality standards
  • Comply with Drivers regulations & Working Time Directive in line with the O License legalisation and Company procedures
  • Always providing excellent customer service to keep the companies great reputation.
  • Responsible for the security of the vehicle & load at all times, reporting vehicle defects and ensure that the defect is documented.
Requirements
  • LGV Class 2 licence and an ADR in Tanks with minimum class 2 gases
  • Valid Drivers Digital Tachograph Card
  • Drivers must provide proof of up-to-date CPC
  • Criminal Record Check - Basic Disclosure
  • Proof of Right To Work - Passport / Birth Certificate etc.
  • Identity Document - Driving Licence / Passport.
  • Resilience and a calm and considered approach in all situations
  • Communicate with the wider team and stay flexible to help out when needed
  • Willingness to learn new ways of doing things and adapt to new processes and procedures as they arise
