Job Description

We are thrilled to offer you the opportunity to join one of our established Build Partners as a Fibre Surveyor. Not only do they offer competitive salaries with a variety of great company benefits, but they invest and support the development of all their employees meaning they offer careers not just jobs.As a Fibre Surveyor you will be part of a survey team working collectively and collaboratively under the guidance from your Survey Supervisor surveying CityFibre projects.You will help to build the Future of Fibre by:

  • Adhere to client specific specifications and procedures.
  • Carry out risk assessments and report any visible hazards or defects to appropriate staff.
  • Ensure the survey is completed in a safe manner and implement control methods where necessary.
  • Accurately record site information and propose the most practical and cost-effective solution based on client specification and constraints.
  • Act professionally and responsibly when attending any survey site.
  • Liaise with those on the survey site.
  • Assist with resolving queries to enable design to progress as soon as possible
  • Adhere to Health and Safety legislation.
You will need:
  • Underground and overhead experience of utility networks.
  • Knowledge and experience of trenching, ducting, cabling and poling.
  • CSCS card holder.
  • NRSWA Street works Ticket.
  • A8 and A9 BTOR accredited.
  • SA001 and SA002 accredited.
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
