They welcome people who can bring a new way of thinking to the team, and work towards a shared goal to deliver an exceptional investment experience.The Role: The successful candidate will work closely with, and in support of, the existing team of CIO, Deputy CIO and Investment Managers to manage investor portfolios, with a primary focus on long run superior risk adjusted returns. The role encompasses all aspectsof portfolio management including macro-economic research, fund research and selection, risk management, process improvement and client engagement.About You:Relevant Bachelors Degree essential, preferably from a mathematics, economics, or finance-based discipline.Relevant Masters, and/or additional Level 7 qualifications a plus.Demonstrated enthusiasm for investment and markets. Comfortable making investment recommendations and having them challenged.Experience of macro-economic strategy, including making investment recommendations.Experience of third-party fund analysis and selection, including making investment recommendations.Ability to form market relationships and assist in portfolio analysis essential.Ability to manage workflow and be self-motivated.Ability to adjust priorities/workload in real time. Responsive to changing demands in workflows.Strong Excel, VBA and Bloomberg skills essential. Python familiarity a positive.Morningstar Direct experience a plus.Strong cultural emphasis on collegiate behaviour. Expected to work with fellow investment professionals across the team to support idea generation.Adherence to highest ethical standards. Commitment to high work quality and timely results.This position would suit someone with 2-3 years front-office experience in macro-economic research and investment strategy seeking to grow into a portfolio management role. Fund selection and research experience is also desired, as is experience in a multi-assetenvironment. A grounding in a process-driven environment with a focus on investment performance would be preferred.
