Job Description

A Graphic Designer is required for a unique team in Penarth. This is a full time, office-based role within an inhouse marketing team. (Hybrid working available). As Graphic Designer you will be highly creative and skilled in brand identity, marketing initiatives and the production of engaging content.You will produce high-quality and engaging content, in line with the company’s brand and marketing strategies, including planning, developing, and implementing various marketing initiatives.Our client is based in the centre of Penarth, in a modern and busy office where this role would be based 3 or 5 days a week, with the opportunity to work from home 2 days.The role:

  • Create visually appealing and effective designs for various marketing materials, for website graphics, social media content, brochures, banners, presentations through to advertisements.
  • Implementing perfectly aligned designs for brand, launches of products arms, industry updates through to general marketing.
  • Transform complex concepts and ideas into clear, engaging visual representations.
  • Continual commitment to industry, for design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Stakeholder communication and presentations throughout projects and operational demand.
  • Adapt and amend copy provided by the marketing team, ensuring that the visual and written elements work seamlessly together to convey the desired message.
  • Utilise the design process to take ownership of projects from concept to final delivery, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Supporting the marketing team with projects, operational needs and technical support.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, printers, and partners to ensure the accurate execution of designs for various print and digital formats.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks efficiently always to meet deadlines.
We are looking for:
  • Vast experience as a Graphic Designer within in a marketing team or creative agency setting.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • The ability to work in a reactive and proactive environment and manage operational demand.
  • Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to translate marketing objectives into creative visual solutions.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present and discuss design concepts with the team.
  • Experience with a database or CRM
