West Kent Health is a GP led Federation of the 54 practices in West Kent, covering nearly 500,000 patients and divided into 9 Primary Care Networks (PCNs).We provide leadership which facilitates General Practice remaining at the heart of Local Care as it evolves, delivering care closer to home through new and innovative service models. By doing so we endeavour to improve experience and outcomes for the people of West Kent as they seek to remain healthy.We are seeking to recruit an experienced, capable, highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Service Manager with significant operational experience to lead clinical and operational services, ensuring the ongoing provision of excellent services for patients.The post holder is a key member of the management team, responsible and accountable for the day to day operational management and the effective and efficient delivery of commissioned services. These service currently includes Diabetes, Improved Access and MDT Pharmacist Services. The Service Manager will work in partnership with GP clinical leads to ensure a delivery of high-quality clinical services. Our portfolio continues to extend and therefore in time additional services will fall under the remit of this post.This is a challenging and rewarding role, suited to someone with a real ‘can-do’ approach. You will provide leadership and management to service delivery teams and professionals. The successful candidates must be able to work autonomously, prioritise, communicate effectively at all levels and have excellent organisational skills.West Kent Health GP Federation offers a supportive environment to work in and attractive terms and conditions.Working pattern - 37.5 hours per week.
