Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential Do you have the skills, experience and qualifications to provide guidance and support to a group of students with diverselearning needs in a secondary school setting If so, we would love to hear from you!We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN teaching assistant to join our team at [name of school]. You will work closely with the teacher and other staff to deliver effective learning plans and strategies, tailored to the students’ needs and abilities.You will also monitor and assess the students’ progress and provide constructive feedback on their achievements, challenges and goals. You will facilitate small group sessions and interventions as appropriate, and attend to the students’ personal and socialneeds where required. You will assist with the management of behaviour and classroom routines, and deliver and adapt learning activities and teaching programmes as needed. You will also assist with the supervision of students during breaks and lunchtime, andparticipate in extracurricular activities as required. You will support the students with their learning and development in line with relevant policies and frameworks, and prepare and assist with the learning environment and resources. You will maintain accurateand up-to-date records and reports as requested, and establish and maintain positive relationships with parents/carers, and communicate information as directed. You will provide administrative support as required, and accompany the teacher and the studentson educational visits, trips and off site activities as required.To be successful in this role, you will have:
