InstallerLocation: Pavenham, Bedfordshire, MK43 7PSSalary: £12ph with overtime paid at time + half.Contract: Permanent, Full TimeHours: core hours are Monday - Friday 8-430Installer - The Role:Stafford Bridge are expanding and are seeking site installers to join our team of permanent and subcontract fitters. The Role will entail fitting Security fire doors, modular walling, windows, and security grilles at customer sites across the UK and NorthernIreland. We also complete works abroad however this is sporadic and not regular. Training on the products will be given.Due to the nature of the role our fitters regularly complete hours outside of these daily paid at time +1/2 or overnight stay with accommodation & meals covered by Stafford Bridge.Tasks and responsibilities. A current CSCS card is essential within this role. Competence with use of handheld portable power tools and hand tools. An eye for detail.Installer - Skills/Qualifications: The applicant should be confident and willing to learn. Be able to work well with others or alone. Be trustworthy and discrete due to the locations we work. Due to the weights of our products, candidates must be able to lift heavy objects. Manual handling equipment is provided however there are some situations where this cannot be implemented, and products must be manually moved, in a safe manner. Applicant will require a full, valid driving licence. Following your 3-month probation you will be required to undergo SC security vetting. Successful applicants to undergo various security vetting in addition to SC vettingDesirable skills: A background in Carpentry, Steel erecting or Cold room installation is preferred but not essential.
