Job Description

The company are a successful manufacturer of metal pressings, springs, wire forms, welded assemblies and engineered parts. They have been trading for well over 50 years and are looking to strengthen their team with this role.The company is based in Redditch so is easily commutable from Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Solihull, Worcester, Droitwich.Duties to include are;

  • Ensure productivity is improved throughout the plant
  • Scheduling of production
  • Helping to manage the workforce/staff and to include performance management
  • Ensure quality standards are improved through lean manufacturing process such as Six Sigma etc
  • Ensure correct health and safety procedures are followed at all times
    • I welcome applications from engineers who have the following skills and expertise;
  • A press tool-making background / progression tooling
  • Excellent knowledge of CAD programs (Solidworks)
  • An engineering apprenticeship or hold a HNC/HND or a BEng
  • Some experience in managing or leading teams
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety standards and procedure
