Job Description

A Redditch based company that provides specialist healthcare services to address NHS waiting lists is looking for an experienced Bid Writer to join the team. Along with a salary of up to £50,000 per annum, you will also receive a pension scheme, privatehealthcare, a performance bonus, and a company bonus.This is a fantastic opportunity if you’re looking for your next challenge in a growing company with good career development potential.As a Bid Writer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing tender summaries, attending briefings, and supporting post-tender presentations
  • Proactively monitoring live tender opportunities and providing information to support decision making by senior managers
  • Organising and leading bid kick-off and development meetings
  • Working with the Senior Management team and other colleaguesto co-ordinate timely inputs into bespoke tender submissions
  • Ensuring high standards of data entry and quality in both paper and electronic record-keeping
  • Establishing, developing, and maintaining our bid library, enabling continuous improvements in both our win rate and efficiency of our bid activity
We’re looking for a Bid Writer with the following qualities/experience:
  • Professional experience in a similar role, focused on creating written proposals in response to formal tender processes
  • Excellent presentation skills, with experience of pitching content to clients as part of the tender process
  • A solid understanding of the NHS gained either working within the NHS or whilst successfully securing business from NHS organisations
  • Flexible attitude, with an understanding of the need to work beyond limitations of the job role in support of broader business requirements
