Position: Procurement OfficerLocation: OxfordshireSalary: £55,000 - £60,000Shorterm Group is currently seeking a seasoned and dynamic Procurement Officer for one of our key motorsport customers based in Oxfordshire. We are looking for a candidate with experience in procurement within the motorsport/automotive industry or another nichefast-paced engineering sector.Responsibilities:* Manage a portfolio of high-value accounts/suppliers, ensuring effective procurement processes and supplier relationship management.* Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost efficiency and quality standards.* Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with organizational goals.* Resolve any procurement-related issues, including disputes and delivery delays.* Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular performance evaluations.* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in procurement practices.Requirements:* Proven track record in managing high-value accounts/suppliers.* Previous procurement experience within the motorsport/automotive industry or another niche fast-paced engineering sector.* Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.* Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.* Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.* Excellent organizational and time management abilities.If you believe you meet the above criteria and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please send your CV to .Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
