Our client, an international group specialising in natural food and drink ingredients used in food manufacture and based in Derbyshire, has a vacancy for a Quality Control Technician.This role would ideally suit candidates with a genuine interest in science (Chemistry), and familiarity of working within laboratory conditions.DURING INITIAL TRAINING (ESTIMATED 3 MONTHS) HOURS WILL BE 900-1700/800-1600 MOVING TO ROTATING SHIFTS THEREAFTER 600-1400 OR 1100-1900*. THERE ARE 2 ROLES - 1 PERMANENT, 1 FOR AN INITIAL 12 MONTH CONTRACT.*SHIFT ALLOWANCE PAIDExperience in a Chemical Laboratory is essential with at least 18 months experience (not including Uni placements).Colour experience would be excellent but not essential.
