Job Description

Payroll Officer - Looking for an experiencedPayroller to join a growing business.The Payroll Officer will ensure a flawless monthly payroll service is provided and staff expectations are met. Ability to prioritise and organise yourself and others and work to changing deadlines.Working closely with both Human Resources and Finance teams.Your responsibilities will include: Responsible for Sage 50 Cloud payroll from start to finish. Responsible for HR information system Prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines and service levels are met. Ensure HMRC RTI, FPS, EPS submissions are accurate, completed and submitted within timescales. Administer and reconcile benefits and statutory deductions. Administer trackers and provide onboarding documentation. Produce payroll reports as required. Work closely with Finance to ensure tax year end reporting to HMRC. Provide administrative support to colleagues and other teams. Assist with inputting invoices when required.Profile Knowledge of Sage 50 payroll, payroll systems and using MS office packages - must be able to apply payroll knowledge to maintain and improve the teams processes and procedures. Hands-on team player with the ability to build collaborative working relationships with a can-do attitude. Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills. Able to manage priorities, resolve problems and deal with issues in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a tenacity for accuracy.This role is based 100% from the office.
