Job Description

About The RoleIn this role you’ll carry out thorough examinations of our lifting equipment, small workshop tools and working at height equipment in line with LOLER and PUWER regulations. You’ll also carry out face fit testing and have responsibility for the purchase of replacement equipment and monitoring stock levels.A key part of the role will be the accurate and timely completion of the required documentation in line with the company’s procedures and ensure adherence to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment regulations.You’ll be based from our service centre in Oundle, Peterborough however this role predominantly covers the London and surrounding areas.About The CandidateWhen you join us we will provide you with a comprehensive company induction and training programme and work with you to identify your personal development needs.You will need to bring to the role:Experience & Qualifications:

  • Full UK driving license.
  • Experience of carrying out Lifting Equipment inspections on items including Chains, Slings, Shackles and Manual/Powered Hoists etc.
  • Experience of carrying out inspections on workshop tools and equipment in line with PUWER requirements.
  • Experience of inspecting working at height equipment.
  • LEEA Lifting Equipment Theory Certificates required.
  • Knowledge and experience of LOLER and PUWER.
  • Good knowledge of inspection techniques applicable to Lifting Equipment.

  • Self-motivated, capable of working alone and with other members of the team
  • Practical thinker with the ability to think outside the box
  • Organised and structured approach to work
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when completing inspection paperwork.
