A leading educational institute is seeking a Financial Accountant to work closely with the Head of Finance, based 5 days in the office. Are you a part accountantDo you enjoy technical finance and systems improvement Would you like to work for an organisation that values its staff A leading educational institute is seeking a Financial Accountant to work closely with the Head of Finance, based 5 days in the office. This is a permanent position overseeing month end, reconciliations, statutory accounts, year-end preparation work, liaisingwith external auditors. An overview is as below: * Supporting in the delivery of the month end preparation* Oversight of the balance sheet reconciliation process* Maintenance of the fixed asset register including capitalisation * Supporting in the production of the statutory accounts * Liaising with external auditors on year-end queries * Working with the financial systems team on ad hoc basis to improve finance systems processes in relation to financial accounting transactions* Assistance in monitoring tax and VATThe role offers a very good pension and annual leave package and a basic salary of up to £37,500-£42,500 DOE plus study support.This position would suit candidates with an interest in financial accounting, and you would be working in a small but dedicated financial accounting directorate within a larger finance team.
