Job Description

Administrator(Commercial Vehicle Hire)c£20,000.00 to £22,00.00 per annum(Negotiable depending on experience)Monday to Friday - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 8:00 am to 12:00 pmExperience Required:Ideally 1-year Administration experience, knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages - Outlook, Word and Excel.Having your own transport will most likely be essential due to the location of the company.Job Purpose:The role of Administrator will report directly to the Workshop Manager at the Leeds Depot, in West Yorkshire. You will be required to efficiently and effectively manage the day to day logistics of the support-administration functions for the breakdowns andplanned maintenance section of the business. The role of a Support Administrator is key within the business as you will be required to be flexible in your approach to ad.hoc tasks, be able to work in a methodical manner and able to prioritise your workload.You will operate an effective system of work in-line with the companys policies and procedures, this will include administration, communication and relationship building with internal and external bodies. Essentially you will have lots of tasks to keep youbusy and also have continued learning and development!Company Overview:Our client, based in Leeds is a well-established company, that have been in operation almost 65 years and are specialists in commercial vehicle rental. Their customers vary from both trade and retail and they have 6 rental depots, with fully equipped maintenanceworkshops in the North and South of England; from these depots they operate approximately 2000 vehicles (of which 900 are above 3.5 tons).Employee Information and Benefits:

  • Monthly pay and 30 minutes lunch break
  • 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, holidays will increase by an additional day with every 2 years of service, up to a maximum of 25 days

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Taking incoming calls and taking breakdowns or passing calls to relevant staff or to other depots
  • Entering information on to the fleet support system (R2C)
  • Data entry on to Excel
  • Creating order numbers for the agents from the out of hours jobs
  • Chasing jobs to completion, informing relevant drivers/customers and other depots when completed
  • Scanning and uploading paperwork, sending paperwork to customers
  • Other ad.hoc admin duties as required
