Our client an established banqueting operation across 4 prestigious venues in Surrey and Hampshire are currently seeking a competent Sous Chef to enhance their current team in managing all aspects of kitchen operations in four exclusive country house wedding and event venues. As the Sous chef you will be based in the production group kitchen in Chertsey during the week day/ daytimes to then cater on location at the venues over the weekend wedding days. You will have the experience and knowledge to add quality to a successful and established operating system, managing food delivery standards, food safety, as well as bespoke menu requests and menu development where required. You will work in a team of 4/5 on site. The client is a leader in their field and are seeking candidates for long term commitment who can work closely with the team and assist in refining an already successful operation.Sous Chef Requirements:-COSHH-HACCP-Food Hygiene Certificate-Driving License essential due to site locations-previous experience to Sous Chef level working with fresh food to a high level.-previous experience working within Conference and Banqueting / Event Catering.This position offers a competitive salary plus benefits.If you are a sous chef looking for a new opportunity to showcase your talent then this could be the role for you.
