About YouYou will be creative and innovative in your approach to teaching and learning, this combined with your successful teaching experience in Higher Education will enable you to succeed.You will be able to act as a role model, must be flexible and responsive to changing needs with a professional approach to work.About the RoleSituated within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Edge Hill University Language Centre offers a number of English Language Development courses and Modern Language courses.English Language courses range from those aimed at preparing students for further academic study here at Edge Hill to short summer programmes for those wishing to improve their English Language ability whilst learning about, and experiencing, British culture.Foreign Language modules are offered for undergraduate students and other learners. We currently offer French, Spanish, German, Italian, Arabic and Mandarin classes as credit-rated elective modules. We also offer a Conversation Exchange that matches languagelearners for extra practice and extra-curricular evening classes (STEPs) in French, Spanish, Arabic, Italian and German.The appointed person(s) will work with the tutor team in the delivery of the above programmes and activities.
