Job Description

Trainee Engineer - Lightning ConductorAn exciting position has become available for a full-time Trainee Engineer - Lightning Conductor based in Oldham. The successful candidate will earn £9-£11 per hour Depending on experience. All training will be provided and paid for by the company.The candidate will be guaranteed 39 hours per weekMonday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm. These hours are set down as per a Working Rule Agreement in place for the industry.Role Requirements

  • Candidate must have a full clean UK driving licence.
  • Candidate must be able to work safely and confidently at height. A head for heights is essential.
  • Previous use of power tools and hand tools.
  • Must be able to work in different client environments and be polite and professional.
  • Previous experience of working at height, would be desirable.
  • Previous experience of working within the construction industry, would be desirable.
  • There is some travel to sites throughout the UK, so some working away at times.
Role Responsibilities
  • Installing lightning protection via ladders, rope access, MEWPS, scaffold towers
