Job RoleWe are currently recruiting for a talented apprentice, who can help grow and develop the companys client base, whilst learning new sales techniques and earning commission in the process. As a technical sales apprentice your main role and responsibilities will include: This role consists of buying and selling and building up a portfolio of customers, which are IT businesses. As this is a small and young company, you would be involved in a lot of aspects of the business:Sales-Seek out new opportunities through cold calling, emails and social media-Introduce the company and services offered-Make outbound calls and take inbound calls-Understand customer needs and requirements-Gather and update information for the CRM system-Producing and coordinating customer quotations ensuring they are followed up within a set time scale-Dealing with customer issues and finding a quick resolution-Work towards a sales targetVarious Admin Tasks-Accurate processing of any sales orders received-Check data accuracy in orders and invoices for customers Purchasing-coordinate the purchase of products and materials, including tracking orders and ensuring records are kept up to dateLogistics-Preparing goods for shipments and receiving incoming goods-From preparing packing lists to physically packaging outgoing material-track shipments and ensure deliveryEquipment testing-Carrying out various tests from component level to full system life cycle tests, to help assess their reliabilityThroughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will receive Microsoft training and accreditation through blended learning. This combines online technical training within a virtual classroom, as well as real-world and practical experience with your employer. The certifications you gain are highly respected and globally recognised. The skills, knowledge and experience you will gain whilst on the programme are invaluable.
