Job Description

Fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant secondary academy based in the heart of Oldham seeking an experienced MFL Teacher to provide targeted intervention for pupils across KS3 and KS4.Key role highlights:Role:MFL Teacherdelivering Key stage 3/4 booster sessions.Applications are welcome from fully qualified teachers or tutors with 6+ months previous experience working within a similar capacity with a suitable subject specialist qualification in French, German or Spanish.Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester.Hours: Full-time or part-time hours available.Salary:£30 - £35 per hour.Start Date:September 2022.Roles and responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted MFL for pupils in KS3/KS4 on a 1:3 basis.
  • Leading a timetable developed by the school: creating resources and sessions to accommodate a range of learning abilities, with full support provided.
  • Monitor and review pupil progress in line with learning outcomes.
Essential Requirements:
  • PGCE, QTS, or any previous experience working within a similar capacity, particularly across KS3/KS4, is highly advantageous.
  • Level 2 safeguarding trained within the last 12 months, or complete the training with us, free of charge.
  • Able to plan and deliver targeted sessions with enthusiasm and creativity.
