Job Description

Auction House Administrator£19,000 + OTE £22KOldhamMust have UK Driving licence and access to a vehicleBrilliant opportunity for a strong administrator to join a busy auction house. To be considered for this role you must have excellent Microsoft Excel and Customer Service skills.Working alongside another Auction Administrator and the Auction Manager prepare, organise and participate in Auction House Manchester and Auction House West Yorkshire auctions throughout the year.Auction House duties:

  • Deal with all relevant administration for new and existing clients including creating paper and electronic records, maintaining records of keys and memorandum of sales, prepare and update addendum, order boards, instruct solicitors etc
  • Enter details of properties onto Reapit, Auction House and Property World.
  • Prepare posts for social media.
  • Proof the draft catalogue.
  • Send out turning pages catalogues.
  • Maintain sales advice packs.
  • Arrange viewing schedules and undertake viewings as required.
  • Update clients after viewings.
  • Input lot numbers once agreed.
  • Prepare notes for auctioneer.
  • Register telephone/proxy bids
  • Monitor and respond to Auction House generic emails and any other Auction House administration as required.
  • Respond to telephone enquiries.
  • Deal with post Auction process from exchange to completion including liaising with vendors, purchasers and solicitors.
  • Complete all required paperwork following a sale at Auction including the memorandum of sale, confirmation of sale letters, contract, letters to solicitors and vendors etc.
  • Order EPCs if required.
  • Prepare accounts/statements as required.
  • Conduct viewings on unsold properties and update clients accordingly.
  • Create and maintain client folders and maintain details on Reapit of new clients details obtained at Auction.
  • Handing over of keys upon completion.
