Job Description

Customer Service/Warehouse OperativeFull time - PermanentSalary: £21,000This role combines both a Warehouse operative and Customer Service. The ratio of each role type will be determined on how needed each role is at the time, for example, between April and August, is our peak season and will require more customer service duringthese times. Another example, if a warehouse member is on annual leave, then the warehouse role will be more important, it’s interchangeable and we require flexibility and efficiency in both roles.Warehouse Role:Ensure safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse materials and products. General assistance in the warehouse to our Warehouse Manager.Customer Service Role:To undergo all Customer service responsibilities, including, and not limited to, Answering the Office Phone and responding to customer emails and enquiries.Key Responsibilities:Warehouse Task Management

  • Take delivery of goods and supplies
  • Check for damaged or missing items.
  • Store goods appropriately
  • Pick and pack orders for dispatch.
  • Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck.
  • Carry out stock counts as and when required.
  • Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures.
  • Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others.
  • Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency.
Customer Service
  • Replying to emails from embers of the public
  • Keeping a consistent and solid communication with our other customer service team member
  • Solving customer issues and complaints in a calm and productive manner
  • Daily checking and staying on top of new emails and messages from our various platforms.

  • Work in a safe manner and comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
