Job Description

It allows everyone in our team to pursue their own personal and professional goals to a world-class level, through Uniparts ‘From Gate to Great’ training and development program.This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part ofthe Group Security Management Team,reporting to the Senior Security Operations Manager,and proactively reducing risk exposure to Unipart, its customers, and employees through the effective implementationof Unipart’s security management framework and security standards. As part of your key responsibilities, youll:

  • Be responsible for the assurance of a safe and secure working environment through the implementation of effective Security Solutions
  • Proactively reduce risk exposure through the effective implementation of security standards through a collaborative approach with all relevant internal/external stakeholders
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and value through optimised cost security solutions and security excellence performance
  • Correctly assess security risk levels and effectively implement corrective actions and progress reports for gaps identified
  • Provide leadership, guidance and support to the Group Security Team including, Security Team Leaders and Security Officers
  • Safeguard the reputation of the business and customers by ensuring adequate security measures and standards are effectively maintained
About You
  • Proven experience of effectively managing teams and individuals in challenging and complex security and risk management environments
  • Proven experience in conducting complex in depth security / criminal investigations
  • Ability to identify and investigate unexplained stock losses, through the analysis and interpretation of relevant data sources
  • Ability to work under pressure in a challenging and constantly changing complex environment
  • Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills, with the ability to present to all levels of stakeholders, internal and external
  • Clear leadership skills, energy passion and a can do attitude
  • Experienced in prioritising own workload around tight deadlines in a pressurised environment
  • Experience in effectively managing multiple site locations and security projects
  • Excellent Excel skills are required, with a keen eye for accuracy, and producing high-quality reports
  • Proven Security Risk Management experience within Supply Chain; Logistics; Transportation; and Manufacturing Security environment
  • Proven effective Security Project Management; application and management of physical security systems to ensure control measures remain proportionate and cost-effective
Desirable
  • Experience working within Supply Chain Logistics/transport industry groups such as TAPA / AEO / C-TPAT / Aviation Security (CAA)
  • Preferable formal certification as a result of courses from professional security bodies PSP / CPP / CFI / CSMP
