Job Description

LHH Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a supportive and growing manufacturer based in Nuneaton, who are now seeking a Management Accountant to join the business on a permanent basis, with the scope of moving into a management role in the comingyears.My client have an average tenure of 10+ years, which is a credit to the positive working culture and career development they have created in the office. Please note, this position is office based.Core Duties:

  • Supporting the month end close, including calculation of accruals, prepayments & depreciation
  • Complete monthly balance sheet & inter-company reconciliations
  • Assist the Finance Manager in preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Investigate & where required, raise rebates
  • Complete stock & variance analysis
  • Raise a range of reports such as Sales & Margin
  • Support in KPIs, budgets and forecasts
  • Complete the Quarterly VAT return
  • Support compliance with all legal & regulatory requirements including year-end files & liaison with auditors

  • Advanced level of general IT skills -Microsoft Excel is essential

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good organisational and planning skills
  • Strong attention to detail
