COMMERCIAL FIRE & SECURITY SERVICE ENGINEERNuneaton Based, Covering Leicestershire, Warwickshire & West MidlandsDays £30,000 - £35,000We are looking for a motivated service engineer to join a market leading security systems company. Reporting directly to the service manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspectsof planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers.The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.Role Description* Routine maintenance visits and servicing of predominantly intruder alarms and CCTV systems for mostly commercial/public sector customers* Occasionally servicing fire alarms, aspiration, emergency lights and access control systems. (15% of workload but growing) * Corrective maintenance and fault finding for predominately intruder alarm and CCTV systems but also on access control, fire alarmsand aspiration systems.* Small works installing extra equipment onto existing systems plus upgrading existing panels and recorders.* Mostly working alone as part of a larger service team liaising with other engineers, the Technical Support Manager and the Service Manager.Skills and Qualifications* A minimum of 10 years time served experience but preferably more, working to industry standards within the security systems industry* You will be able to complete BS7858 security screening and have a full UK drivers licence (with a maximum of 3 points)* You need to be polite and courteous and have great communication skills - both written and verbal * You need to be able to use your judgement and make decisions* You ideally live within 20 miles of Nuneaton* Experience with the following intruder equipment: Gardtec, Honeywell Galaxy, Risco LightSYS, Risco & Visonic wireless systems.
