Job Description

Our client has a new exciting opportunity for an X-Ray Engineer to cover Nottingham (southern/central England, ideally along the A1 corridor) reporting to their Head Office in Gloucestershire.As an X-Ray Engineer, you will provide field service engineering support for the routine servicing, repair and installation of diagnostic imaging and associated products.X-Ray Engineer Responsibilities:

  • To provide field service engineering support for the routine servicing, repair and installation of all products within the companys portfolio and other systems under maintenance contract with the company.
  • To ensure all equipment is maintained and installed to the companys standards and that all activities are documented using the relevant company standard documentation.
  • To provide technical support to equipment stakeholders, both physically attending site and in the form of telephone support. Travel is an integral part of the role.
  • To monitor systems and failures to ensure common faults are reported to the relevant Product Specialist and the Product Support Manager to enable a continual improvement in the performance of the companys products.
    • X-Ray Engineer Requirements:
  • HND in electronics or equivalent
  • 3 years’ field service experience or 2 years’ X-ray engineering experience
  • Articulate, professional, well-presented and with good customer facing skills
  • Must be able to prepare reports and other documentation to a very high level and be methodical and accurate
  • DICOM and PACS Knowledge is desirable but not essential
  • X-ray equipment knowledge is also desirable but not essential
