Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Site Engineer to join our team. As a member of the construction team, you will work across England (Nottinghamshire initially) and Wales surveying foundations and crane pads to ensure they are ready when the modulesarrive at site.Client Detailsilke Homes has serious ambition, aiming to be the number one house builder within the next decade.   • Survey of concrete foundations and made ground for lifting operations - This includes drainage, service pop ups and line and levels
  • Report of survey findings based on a standard checklist and advising on remedial work
  • Temporary works coordination - full training will be given to the appointed candidate
  • Liaising with temporary works engineers to create safe ground conditions for lifting operations
  • The role may also require occasional survey and report on other site and modular related items
Profileilke Homes is particularly interested in speaking with candidates who can demonstrate:Essential:
  • Competent use of Leica total station
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
  • Engineering HNC or above relating to ground work design
  • Holds a current full driving licence
  • Current CSCS / CPCS card
  • 18+ years of age
  • Please note; you must be flexible, willing to travel and work away from home
Desirable
  • Experience working within the modular building and construction industry would be advantageous but not essential
  • Experience of all terrain cranes
  • Use of Field View or similar software for reporting survey findings
  • Temporary works engineer / coordinator
Qualities & Attitude:
  • Able to manage own workload
  • Strong work ethic for doing things the right way
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide clients and contractors
