Financial Accountant | Nottinghamshire| up to £46,000Macildowie are delighted to be working on an exclusive opportunity with a large organisation based in NG7 who are seeking to appoint a part qualified Financial Accountant.It is a great time to join with exciting plans for the coming years and you will be playing an instrumental role in supporting the wider finance team and providing day-to-day support to other senior members of the team.The RoleThis Financial Accountant role is an excellent opportunity to work within a large organisation, get exposure to the different departments within the organisation and develop your skill set and experience.Reporting into a Senior Financial Accountant you will be a contributing to meeting the annual and statutory responsibilities for the organisation. Other elements include:- Preparing financial statements for Year-End including gathering the information from the wider finance team.- Working with external auditors, answering queries and being the link between them and the finance team.- Supporting with budgeting and forecasting processes (Please note - prior budgeting and forecasting experience is not a requirement).- Managing 2 established Finance Officers who will be providing support to this Financial Accountant post.Benefits- Paying up to £46,000- 22% employer pension contribution- 43 days annual leave (including bank holiday)- Flexible working - 3 days required on site with the rest from home (site is NG7)Requirements- Part-Qualified or actively studying towards qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)- Experience preparing financial statements for year-end processes- Experience working with auditors for year-end processes- Intermediate excel (Pivots, Vlookups and IFs)If you meet the requirements and are keen to find out more please apply now with an up to date CV and we will get in touch shortly, the deadline is 13th February.Please put your home postcode on your CV when applying.
