Job Description

CNC Setter Operator Nottingham - NG15 £16.32 per hour days - £17.65 per hourVariety of Shifts on offer (Days, Nights, or Continentals)Permanent Summary: CNC Setter Operator GI Pro are working in partnership with an aerospace engineering company based in near to Mansfield.We are recruiting for CNC Setter Operators on a permanent basis.There are various shifts available from static days or nights to Continental shifts.Rates of pay are £16.32 days, and £17.65 nights.The Job: CNC Setter Operator

  • Machining various aerospace parts in low to medium batches
  • Parts such as wing / fuselage structural parts, engine lock-plates , bracketry and more.
  • Working with Fanuc or Mazak controls
  • Working from drawings
  • Quality inspecting with Verniers, Micrometers, and various gauges
  • Control and adjust machine settings (i.e., Speeds and feeds relevant to individual job dimension and material specifications
The Ideal Candidate: CNC Setter Operator
  • You will have either Turning or Milling experience.
  • Be able to use hand held measuring equipment.
  • Able to Set and Operate using Fanuc Controls
