Job Description

Head of Service Delivery, ITBase Location: FlexibleSalary: Dependant on Experience + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible working options availableWhat is the RoleThis is a leadership role responsible for managing IT infrastructure and service delivery through a team comprising of internal resources and outsourced delivery partners, leading change and BAU delivery of IT infrastructure and software platforms. Key responsibilitiesinclude:

  • Define functional and technical solution requirements on programmes and change.
  • Assess suitability of new technology platforms against pre-defined criteria to ensure the right solutions are implemented and deliver the expected results.
  • Management of existing and new vendors, suppliers, and 3rd party service providers.
  • Responsible for team performance management activities, defining objectives, KPIs and carry out annual performance calibration and reviews.
  • Provide technical guidance to business areas and other technical teams as required.
What do I needTo be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent training, education, and experience) with professional certifications such as ITIL, MCSE, CCNA, Prince2, etc
  • Strong management skills and ability to deliver under pressure
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulation, and IT best practice e.g. PCI DSS, FSA, ITGC, ITIL
  • Demonstrable superior communication skills at all levels and within the user community as well as with technology staff, specifically, the ability to translate "technical jargon" into common business language
